Anka Behavioral Health, Inc. is a leading provider of mental health care designed

to alleviate symptoms associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other experiences that cause high levels of distress.

The company’s slogan “banishes the demons” captures the essence of our work and how we approach each client.

Anka was founded by a team of psychologists who were frustrated with their efforts to help clients access traditional mental health care.

They also saw how accessing services was even more difficult for family members and

other caregivers providing support to someone suffering from the disorder.

With this knowledge, they decided to found a company that would be responsive to their clients’ needs and

would alleviate suffering by treating the underlying problems instead of just masking symptoms.

Anka has remained true to its mission: banish the demons and let your light shine again.

Anka Behavioral Health believes that everyone is born with light inside them which

they can access if they are no longer living in fear or worrying about being harmed again.

The company has treated over 7,000 patients since its founding in 2012.

The goal of treatment is to reduce symptoms while increasing self-awareness and self-sufficiency.

The company’s services are designed to help the client better understand

what keeps them from living according to their values and to find ways of overcoming what is holding them back.

Anka uses creative approaches to keep the sessions interesting and engaging for the client, such as drawing, music, drama and storytelling.

Anka’s approach differs from traditional talk therapy in that treatment sessions are less structured.

Instead of starting with a specific topic and trying to stick with it for the entire session,

the therapists at Anka Behavioral Health ask questions about what is going on in their clients’ lives

try to get them talking about their internal experience. anka behavioral health incorporated
