Then you look up and see a beautiful sunset and feel your heart skip a beat as you hear the sound of crickets chirping nearby. Maybe you’ll even smell s’mores cooking over a fire! After this experience, take your new-found energy to enjoy some fun camping activities like hiking, fishing, or stargazing.

The XD experience is like sitting in a virtual reality room where you can feel the action. Turn on your favorite XD movie and imagine yourself standing in the middle of a forest that’s shrouded in fog. Suddenly, a branch snaps and you feel like someone is watching you from the woods. You turn around to face an ominous castle whose tall trees have been twisted into a topiary maze. You can almost hear the sound of wolves howling at night as you try to make your way through the maze, knowing that something sinister is lurking behind every corner. The next thing you know, you’re sleeping in your tent and dreaming of running through the woods, being chased by something with glowing red eyes. Suddenly, you wake up from your dream and you find yourself racing through a graveyard. After this experience, take your new-found energy to enjoy some fun camping activities like hiking, fishing, or stargazing.
3. The Rickshaw
Rickshaws are the vehicles of choice for traveling vendors and locals alike in China who don’t have cars. It may be June, but that doesn’t mean that you can ignore the fact that summer heat is seriously on its way. Although the rain will cool you down, the steady drops of water are bound to ruin your tent and make your clothes wet. Luckily, El Con and XD movies are perfect for watching in bad weather! With a variety of films to choose from in any given genre (horror, action, suspense…), you’ll find a movie to fit your mood. One rainy day last month, I tore through our local video store in search of something fun to watch outside during lightning storms. After trying a few experimental movies, I found a movie that was perfect for the occasion: “The Perfect Game.” This heartwarming, emotionally-charged film follows the story of Tony and Annie, a loving brother and sister who live together in Texas. One day, Tony is reunited with his long lost brother Jim at Summerlin Lake. Though their family had moved away from Texas years earlier, they are once again together as childhood friends. Soaking wet from the rain, Jim and Tony begin to talk about their childhood friendship as well as all that has happened since they last saw each other. As the storm continues to rage outside and thunder rolls ominously through the sky, Jim asks Anthony if he’s ever thought about suicide…
