Evacuating Indians: The US Returners Have To Pay 1 Lakh

In the time period of 7 may to 13 may, Indians will be evacuated from 12 countries by paying Rs 1 lakh. It has been officially listed that more than 1500 Indians will be back. In the very first week, there have been 64 flights that are conducted for evacuating Indians. The civil aviation minister Mr. harsh deep puri has said, the stranded Indians stuck in the US will be flown back to their nation. The passengers who will be flown back will charge out as this service is on a commercial base. This flight will be flown in terms of special circumstances. There are more than 20,000 stranded Indians and exchequer have lack of space to pay ticket prices. 

This is the utmost reason which states that the passengers will be charged for taking the flights so that they can return back without facing a problem. The prices may vary according to the distance such as those flights which will fly from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha to Kerala, and Koch accommodated in 15-16,000. Despite this, those flights which will come from directly from the United States to India will be charged at Rs 1 lakh. The minister has said that if we will not esteem the charges then there will be a higher range of people who want to get back to India. It becomes crucial for the government to arrange airplanes and that is the reason to charged tickets in terms of special circumstances. The facilities of airplanes have been limited due to the crises if we estimate charges than only those individuals will be flown back who will pay the amount. 

When will the first evacuation begin?

The first evacuation will start from 7 May to 13 May. Here in the beginning it will cover 12 countries from evacuating Indians. These countries are the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, United States, and the United Kingdom. According to the studies, in the first week of evacuating it has been conquered that around 2,000 individuals will be evacuated from the United Arab Emirates and 2100 citizens will be evacuated from the United States. 

24 flights from the subsidiary air Indian express and 40 flights from the Air India flights will be deployed from the national carrier. Moving forward, Mr. harsh deep puri has said some private airlines will also be considered for evacuating Indians. Due to the crises, announcing Indian flights has been a wise appropriate decision took by the government because it is a great sign of relief for Indians who are far away from their families. All the domestic, as well as international flights, have been shut due to the crises of COVID-19. This permission is granted, from lots of Indians because several Indians are stuck in different countries.
