Link Building Will Make You Tons Of Cash. Here’s How!

In our post, you will learn about the benefits of link building, including how to do it without being penalized.https://guestbloggingtechnology.com/10-benefits-of-seo-backlink-services/

There are many reasons why businesses invest in link building, but few are more critical than improving search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. The SEO game can take years of planning and optimization to crawl up the rankings; if you don’t have a strong link-building strategy, it could take a lot longer. This post will teach you why investing in quality links is necessary if your business wants to thrive online.

What Is Link Building?

Link building is the process of acquiring links from other relevant websites to your own. These links are then passed on to search engines. Link building, in essence, is a way to help search engines decide which sites are valuable and authoritative based on which sites link to you (and where they link from).

Note that this definition doesn’t specify any particular method or goal of link building. However, there are plenty of methods that can be used to accomplish this task – some more aggressive than others. We’ll get into that later.

Why Should I Build Links?

Today’s digital world is vastly different from the one search engines faced before their inception in the early 1990s. The web was a much more stagnant place; there were less than 100 websites in existence – most of which were educational sites. In fact, Google’s own website wasn’t even made available for public viewing until 1997.

Now, we have billions of websites and thousands of search engines looking to help you find what you’re looking for. Link building is quite literally the foundation of SEO strategy; without it, SEO would be almost impossible.

It helps search engines understand the relative authority and relevance of your website in relation to other sites on the internet; so when users search for information (which they do 2 billion times per day), they get a list of relevant results that come directly from trusted sources.

How Does Link Building Work?

Building links is not as simple as it once was. In the early days of the Internet, you could just purchase a subscription to an article submission service and pay someone a nominal fee to write an article and send it to hundreds of directories.

Or you could pay a low-quality freelancer to place your link on smaller web 2.0 properties that had a high page rank but no real authority in their niche (and where your link may have been one of thousands). But those days are long gone. Google has gone to great lengths to make sure that SEO is fair for everyone.

Now that search engines have a much better grasp of the web and have access to more information about sites, it’s impossible for any single website to get a high ranking without having the proper link strategy in place.

The only exceptions are those companies that are so big (like Amazon and Walmart) or so niche-specific (like Paleo recipes) that people find them organically without an SEO strategy (which is a very rare thing). For most businesses, link building is an essential part of the growth process.

This process isn’t as simple as throwing money at freelancers to build links on poor-quality websites, however. A link from a no-name website or blog is not worth anything to Google. You have to focus your strategy on getting links from high-quality websites, and the best way to do that is with a link building campaign.

What Is A Link Building Campaign?

A link building campaign is any method used to get links from relevant sites to your own site – regardless of the method used. There are dozens of ways you can implement this strategy, but you need to be smart about it. The keyword “link building” can be a bit misleading, because while it’s important to build links, it’s not what you should focus on.

A link building campaign’s goal is to help your website get ranked higher in the search engines – which is done by earning visibility on the web by creating quality content and getting links from other domains that are relevant to your site. If you can’t find enough websites that are relevant to your industry or target audience, then you won’t be able to break into new markets. Not finding a solution means that you may not have or will never be able to expand your customer base.

How Do I Build Links?

There are hundreds of ways to build links and many methods are far more effective than others. Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits all link building strategy that can be implemented for every website. That’s where your link building campaign comes in. You’ll have to identify which tactics are best for your business (and which will get you in trouble).
