Retus Software Channel

A software channel is a way to distribute software/applications to your users. Retus is an open source application which helps you grow, manage, and create your own software channels.

Retus Software Channel was started in 2013 with the goal of helping developers reach a broader audience and to help each other by sharing knowledge.

We can do this by sharing ideas, questions, answers, tips and software to the community through Retus.

The article will go through the basics of creating a software channel retus along with how it can help you in different ways.

1. Creating a software channel:

To create a software channel, go to the Software section of Retus Dashboard. Press the plus sign on the top-right corner of the screen and then press create channel.

You will then be asked to enter some details about your channel (e.g. name, description, etc.) as shown below:

You can now upload your apps and assign them to different categories so that users can easily locate them within your channel.

Press the Upload button on the top of the screen and select your upload file.

In the file explorer that pops up, you have to press upload files and then choose your app from your computer which you want to upload.

Once you have uploaded a number of apps, you can view them in order by using the “Sort by” option on top of your list .

You can also rename or remove any apps from your channel by going through your app list and pressing rename or remove.

2. Managing a software channel:

In addition to creating new channels, Retus enables users to manage different aspects of their existing channels.

You can go to the Software section of Retus Dashboard and then press the channel you want to manage.

You can edit your channel information, upload new apps for your channel, change different categories, view other users who have downloaded your apps, etc.

3. Supporting other users:

Retus also provides users with many ways to support other users. Users can visit the forums section of Retus to provide others with valuable advice about their problems related to software development.

Although there are many questions answered here, not all of them are expert level questions that need to be answered by an expert.

If you see a question that you know how to answer properly, press the “Answer” button at the bottom of the screen.

If you want to provide a more comprehensive answer, press order and then enter your payment details and press confirm.

Your question will then go through an approval process and can be seen by everyone after your question is approved.

There are also different ways that you can share knowledge. For example, you can also use the “_Share” button to share knowledge and help others with your suggestions and advice.

Other users will be able to see all of your posts and wherever possible, we will make sure that we attribute them properly.

There is no need to become an expert in order to help others within Retus.

We encourage other users to always ask questions (even if they might seem obvious) because this will help you get better at answering commonly asked questions or sharing other useful knowledge that other users may find helpful.

Retus is currently in an open beta stage and we welcome any suggestions. If you have any feedback or ideas, please fill out our feedback form.

4. Reaching a massive number of users:

The main goal of Retus is to help you with growing your business. To do this, Retus allows you to reach a massive number of its active users who are already there to download your apps and give you valuable feedback.

Retus has the potential to provide you with a huge number of downloads, along with valuable feedback from users for continued improvements.

5. Summary:

In summary, Retus was built in order to help developers build better applications by providing them with valuable feedback from users.

It also enables them to achieve what they couldn’t achieve without any previous knowledge about developing applications for Windows operating systems.

Retus provides the primary benefit of creating a free software channel for your apps and a secondary benefit of helping you grow your business by reaching a massive number of users.
