Are you constantly feeling sad and disappointed? Anxious and stressed? Not in control of your emotions or destiny?
If so, you’re probably not doing two things: smiling every day, and taking a break from social media. Who knew that these simple actions like glo up quotes would have such an incredible impact on our mental health, quality of life, and happiness? In fact, I feel happier already just thinking about the positive impact it’s going to have!
How to master positivity in 3 days?
1. Start the day right.
Wake up with a smile on your face, do a few nice things for yourself like soaking your feet in some warm water and washing them + drying them off with a soft towel and then give yourself 30 minutes to eat, read or meditate. Don’t look at your phone. Go outside if you can.
2. Do something for other people
Do nice things for others and you will be rewarded with a smile in return. Smile at people you see on the street or at work because it’ll only take 30 seconds and it makes them happy too. Find out what makes people happy, and make yourself happy by being kind to others. Do something nice and unexpected every day for someone else, even if it’s something small like bringing them a cup of coffee that you know they like and enjoying their reaction when they sip the milk and taste the hint of chocolate. It shows that you’re thinking about them and want to make them happy.
3. Take care of your emotional needs
Make sure you nurture yourself every day by taking a break from social media for at least a few hours. Doing this will give you the tools to recognize your emotions, express them, deal with them and then move on.
Be conscious of your emotions, don’t forget to take emotional breaks. Self-care is important for mental health, emotional well-being and happiness. You can do this by taking a bath or shower, listening to good music, going for a walk with some lovely snacks in hand (no cell phones allowed), going outside where you can breathe the fresh air or have some non-verbal conversations with friends/family.
4. Do something meaningful
Be careful with what and how you choose to spend your time. Make sure you’re doing something worthwhile and inspiring. Keep learning something new, try a new hobby, take up a course of self-development or do volunteer work. You don’t have to be doing this every day, but taking a break from social media and relying on yourself for a few days each week for personal growth is enough to start taking control of your life again.
5. Take care of yourself
Drink enough water, eat 3 to 4 servings of fruits and vegetables daily, get enough sleep and exercise. Taking care of your body will give you energy to take care of your mind. Eat well, exercise regularly and get enough sleep at night. Be aware if you have any addiction to medications, alcohol, food or other substances. If so, it’s time to seek help.
6. Don’t worry about “what if”. And don’t tell your dreams to anyone.
When you block out all of the fears, thoughts and worries that come up in your mind when you’re trying to sleep or meditate, you’re going to open a window of peace in your life that’s going to allow the Universe to provide you with everything that you need for happiness and fulfillment . . . including positivity! Stop talking about your dreams with other people too. Let the Universe tell you what your next step should be.
7. Be in the now.
You do not need to think about, plan for or anticipate something that’s going to happen in five years’ time because you’re thinking about it all the time. You don’t need to think about or anticipate something that’s going to happen because you were thinking about it all the time, and now you’ve become addicted to thinking about it and obsessing over how it will turn out in your mind. So stop worrying and just take action!
8. Choose happiness, reality and “what if” over sadness, fear and regret every day.
If you want to be happy and successful, choose to think about all the ways that you’re going to achieve your goals and/or make money in the future instead of thinking about all the ways that things haven’t worked out. And even if they did work out, don’t dwell on them. If you do, then it’s impossible for you to feel positive because negativity is what certain memories give you. So choose to focus on how happy and fulfilled you are right now!
Conclusion:
Now that you’ve learned how to master positivity in just three days, make sure you put these ideas into action. The lessons here can really change your life. You deserve to live in a place of peace and happiness, a place where “mind chatter” doesn’t exist anymore because you’re instead focused on being grateful for what the Universe has already provided for you. A place where fear and worry are nowhere to be seen because you know exactly how to overcome them when they do show up.
It is my greatest hope that these strategies have served you well in improving your level of positivity and overall well-being.
