Fat joe links  was born in Kingston, Jamaica on March 5th, 1991. He is the son of Jamaican reggae artist Bunny Wailer and he is the grandson of Ras Joe Walcott. Fatjoe has been singing since he was six years old and is also trained in Rastafari culture, as his grandfather’s occupation as a High Priest. Fat Joe links are a 10 piece band from Jamaica. They have performed in more than 8 different countries and have a wealth of experience playing in live shows, bringing a unique reggae sound to their audience. Fatjoe links have officially released three albums “Enemies and Friends” (2011), “9 mile” (2012),”The Reggae Band” (2013), and are gearing up to release “Time Will Tell”. 

Jamaica is the birthplace of Reggae music, a genre that originated from the country’s Rastafarian community. . This genre has captivated people across different cultures and parts of the world which led to its popularity spread far wider than just Jamaica. In 2007, Fatjoe signed to Grammy Award-winning producer Rick Rubin’s American recordDef Jam Recordings and recorded an album titled “My Own Way”. The album contains songs that exhibit his singing abilities in roots music and dancehall styles with elements of hip hop.

Their first album “Enemies and Friends” was released on May 18, 2011 and featured their single “I Been” from their first album. The official music video for the song was released on June 9, 2011. The single peaked at #5 on the Island Radio UK playlist, as well as #2 on the Island Radio UK Top 40. The second single from their album “9 Mile” was titled “No Woman No Cry”, released on December 10, 2012. The video was shot in Jamaica, also on December 10, 2012. The song peaked at #6 on the Island Radio UK Top 40 playlist. Their song “Now Or Never” was featured on the soundtrack for the movie “The Bling Ring”. The music video for the song was released October 2012 and features a cameo appearance by Jaden Smith.

Their third album “The Reggae Band” was released on April 28, 2013 via Fat Joe’s label. It is currently available worldwide through iTunes and CD Baby. The album featured their music video for the song “Blessings” and was a collaboration between Fat Joe Links and reggae artists from around the world. On October 29, 2013, their music video for “Stay With Me” featuring Jamaican singer Gyptian was released.

4. Fat Joe Links have officially released three albums “Enemies and Friends” (2011).

On November 12, 2013, Fat Joe Links released their first single from their forth-coming album entitled “Where Do We Go”. The song features Jamaican reggae star Beenie Man. They are also releasing a second single entitled “Sail Away ” featuring singer Chevelle Franklyn. Both singles will be featured on their new album to be released in 2014.

5. The Reggae Band is a collaboration album by Jamaican reggae artists, which was released on April 28, 2013 on Fat Joe’s label.

The album features Fat Joe Links’ single “Where Do We Go” and was a collaboration between Jamaican reggae stars Beenie Man, Yami Bolo and Konshens. The album also features a track produced by Jamaican born producer N-Dubz called “Anything I Want”, featuring singer Gyptian. This album was released on April 28, 2013.
