The key requirement of each personal essay is for you to write about your own experiences and feelings from an honest, non-superficial point of view.

You could simply power through your four years at UF with no extracurricular activities,
few friends, and no fun adventures… but that’s not how you want to live.
After all, college is a training ground for the real world…

such as taking a hike up Paynes Prairie or checking out some live music at The Hippodrome. The opportunities for fun and excitement are endless.
So many students each year tell their families that they want to attend one university as opposed to another
for various reasons such as prestige or location. However, oftentimes those reasons are not as important as you think because

However, if you’re willing to put in an extra effort and live your life with purposeful experiences,

The Letter of Recommendation
Letters of recommendation are essential for any college application; without them, your chances of getting accepted are slim to none.
The letter writer should be someone who knows you well uf cop dean’s list
(not an acquaintance or friend) and can speak to your academic, personal, or even professional merits.
When writing letters for special programs like the Honors Program, the Graduate College Fellowship Program,
or the President’s Leadership Academy, it is ideal that you receive letters from faculty members with whom you have had an ongoing relationship.
We suggest that you ask the following three questions to the person who will be writing your letter of recommendation:
Why do you feel this degree is important for me to earn?
Please share your thoughts on why it will benefit me (and my potential career) after college.
Share any demographic data that might be relevant (e.g., information on my ethnic background or first language).
