Updated tier list of Alchemist

The Alchemist is a ranged unit with the ability to heal allies and damage enemies. He can be purchased with Gold or Crystals in-game.

Here is our updated tier list of the Alchemist:

Tier 1 – The alchemist’s healing properties are really useful to have, but his abilities are not that

strong when it comes to outputting pure damage. His abilities allow him to be more versatile

than most other classes, so this makes up for his average performance across the board… But I

find myself leaning towards making use of Tier 2 alchemists more than Tier 1 since they can

actively dish out tons of damage, which I find much more useful than just passively healing my teammates over time.

Tier 2 – Tier 2 alchemists are great to have on your team at all times because they can deal

damage quickly and efficiently. They’re also very versatile in that they can move around the map quickly.

Tier 3 – Tier 3 alchemists can deal lots of damage, but I prefer having Tier 2 or 4 alchemists

instead for their versatility. The tier 3 alchemist is best when supporting allies in fights with his

healing ability, but he’s very vulnerable if he’s alone in a fight against multiple enemies.

Tier 4 – I would describe the tier 4 Alchemist as “unhealthy”. His abilities don’t really have a big

impact on the outcome of team fights, and his low mobility makes it difficult for him to be effective at staying alive.

Tier 5 – Tier 5 alchemists are a very bad choice, with low health and only one active ability. They also have a poor deal of damage output.

In my opinion, the tier list is pretty accurate. In higher tier matches it is easier to gain a tactical

advantage by taking out your enemies one at a time, so I mainly focus on getting high kill count being in the backline and killing low health enemies.

However in lower tier matches it’s easier to win by destroying objectives, so in that match my

strategy changes and I take a more aggressive role at the front line where I can use bombs and blast damage to take out stronger enemies.

The Alchemist has no saving abilities or mobility spells like Blink or Dash which makes him very

vulnerable for enemy attacks(especially against heroes like Belica with her ult Telekinesis). He

also has no protection spells like Barrier or Shield. So in higher tier matches I sometimes try to

stay with teammates and play more defensively, and in lower tier matches I go all out (and sometimes alone) and try to kill enemies at my own risk.

This is a short video of the premium skin for the Alchemist, called “Token Master. Since he has a

golden bow and hand grenade. I decided to call him Token Master. This skin is available for purchase with about $13 (If I’m not wrong).

I think the premium skin looks pretty good overall, but I don’t like how his hat is pointed up. Also,

his hat brings back the old Alchemist hat from the past which was not as nice looking as this one. Other than that, it’s a pretty cool and unique looking skin!

There was a patch which allowed the alchemist to teleport while using his Ultimate skill. I think

this patch is really cool and useful for the Alchemist since it allows him to move around the map quickly and get back into team fights easier.

However, some players believe that this patch has made him OP since he can escape from

dangerous situations easily. Currently, I haven’t seen any drastic changes in higher tier matches

with this new ability, but I can see how things can get out of hand if this ability simply became

“too OP” in lower tier matches where people spam abilities and fight more aggressively.
