10 Ugly Truths About CBD Vape Pen

The CBD vape pen is a type of vaporizer pen, usually powered by battery, which is designed to vaporizing marijuana concentrates such as wax or shatter. It’s quickly and easily become one of the most popular ways for people who want to consume cannabis without actually smoking it. But like all new technologies, especially ones that are used to get you high, there are some serious ugly truths about CBD vape pens that you should know before your next purchase.

How can you know if the CBD vape pen you are looking at is worth it? We’ve put together a list of 10 ugly truths about CBD pen that you should know before choosing to spend your hard earned money on one.

1. The vast majority of CBD vape pens use cheap and low-quality parts.

If everything was fine with an initial purchase, then we wouldn’t have to talk about it here, but unfortunately, the truth is that there is always a risk involved when buying something online or from a store that doesn’t have any physical presence in your area. So us here at VapeReviews selected some vaporizer pens from different brands and ordered them for testing purposes.

2. Low-quality parts equal low-quality vapor

After having examined several CBD pens closely and put them in a vaping test, it became apparent that most of them are made from cheap plastic or use some sort of rubber bands as a mouthpiece. It’s true that the vast majority of vaporizers are known for using rubber in some way but at least they could be using silicone instead.

3. Many pens come with no instructions so you can’t even figure out how to use them!

Another huge problem is that out of all the products we have ordered, none came with any instructions so we had no idea how to actually use them at first.

4. Some of the pens we ordered came with art work that is offensive and illegal

After receiving them and using them for a while we found ourselves wondering what the hell were these companies thinking when they designed them. At first, it was tempting to just throw them away but what a waste that would be as one of these pens could have been saved and used by other people.

5. The majority of CBD vape pens are being made in China

or other low-wage countries, thereby increasing their prices significantly.

When choosing a vaporizer pen, it is important to know where it was made and whether or not it will be made out of cheap materials.

6. Some pens are so poorly made that they break after a few uses!

One of the biggest problems with buying CBD Vape Pen is that most of them are made in such a way that they start breaking after a couple of uses. This means dropping money on the same piece over and over again and most people just don’t want to spend their hard-earned money like that. So, you end up paying more than you should just to keep it usable for a short period of time.

7. CBD vape pens are incredibly easy to get addicted to.

Many people have complained that CBD vape pens are simply too tempting to use. They could be used in public without anyone even noticing you’re doing anything illegal, they don’t smell bad, they can be easily charged with a micro USB and they come in many different flavors. In other words, CBD vape pens are commonly used as a gateway drug to narcotics and harder drugs like heroin or cocaine.

8. The majority of CBD vape pens are exceedingly difficult to refill

Even if you manage to refill it with the correct amount of oil, the operation is often a piece of cake, but most CBD pen manufacturers just don’t care about that and leave users with no choice but to spend an hour on their hands and knees trying to refil some oil into their pen. It’s frustrating at best.

9. CBD pen cartridges are generally not very concentrated when they are purchased online or in stores

This is the reason why most CBD vape pen users prefer to make their own vape juice at home. The only problem with this approach is that making your own vape juice can be expensive and it takes a lot of time and effort. You could spend days trying to find the ingredients in order to make your own oil while also learning how to do some pretty complicated things like mixing concentrates like THC and CBD with various other types of oils like nicotine, menthol, vanilla or mint.

10. CBD vape pens cannot be used for large amounts of dried herbs.

If you want to vape dry herbs with a vape pen, you need to know that most of them are designed for using oils and concentrates meant for vaping. This means that they won’t be able to handle large amounts of dried herbs so if you’re looking to fill a bigger chamber and get more hits out of your pen, you will have to look somewhere else.

We hope we have managed to convince you that it is crucial to make the right choice when it comes to purchasing CBD pen products. It is not always easy but remember the saying “buy cheap – buy twice”.
