How to bring blogging back

i’m bringing blogging back  with this post. With links to some of the best blogs in the world, I’m confident that you’ll find your niche.

‘Blogging’ has gone through some tough times over the last few years, but it is now coming back stronger than ever before.

Blogs are still alive and kicking on the internet, albeit in a different form than they were ten or twenty years ago.

But what does this mean for you? It’s time to start blogging! If you’ve ever thought about starting your own blog, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get started.

If you don’t, someone else will get there first, and if it’s not you, someone else will get all of the traffic, all of the subscribers. It’s time to take action!

You’ll only be able to start blogging once you’ve found your niche (see below). Once you’re ready (and I know that you are), then it’s time to bring blogging back. To start blogging today, follow these easy steps:

Step 1 – Find your niche

Good bloggers are passionate about their topics. And they’re able to convey this passion in their words.

This is why it’s important to find a niche that you’re passionate about. There are thousands of niches out there, but you can’t choose them all.

The best way to find your niche is to think about the sort of things that you’re interested in and then take a look at what other people are writing about.

If there’s a lot of competition within your main niche (there usually is), then narrow it down and think about something else.

You want to try and be the best in your niche, not the best blogger in the world (that’s too hard).

Step 2 – Start with a strong topic

You’ve picked your niche. Now it’s time to find the words to back it up. Your blog should be about something that you know about, but don’t know how to explain very well.

For example, the popular blogger Adam Conover does a great job of explaining his subject, yet he still comes across as passionate about it.

He’s great at making things sound easy and fun, but he also conveys just how difficult hitting that perfect balance can be.

This is what makes him so good at what he does (and this is why I think he’ll do well at bringing blogging back).

Step 3 – Get started

So, you’ve found your niche. Maybe you even found some great topics to work on. Still not sure?

Check out these best blogs in the world (and if you don’t find any that interest you, create your own). I’m happy to provide some inspiration or suggestions if needed.

Use these blogs as guides for finding your own style and voice. Once you have the skills to bring something interesting to this, you’ll be well on your way to blogging success.

Step 4 – Keep it up

Blogging takes time to build up. It’s going to take a while before you get your first 100 subscribers, and it’s going to take a while longer before you have 100,000.

Don’t get frustrated. This is part of the process.

The best way to ensure that you keep blogging is to find a consistent schedule and stick to it. This will help you keep things going and eventually get more people paying attention.

Step 5 – Think about SEO

If you want to bring blogging back, then it’s time to learn some real SEO techniques. Google is the biggest search engine in the world, accounting for over 90% of all searches.

This means that your blog will never go viral if people can’t find it.

Make sure that your blog is accessible by optimising the content for search engines using keyword-rich titles and descriptions, well-written body content, and an active social media presence (Google loves social media).

Step 6 – Keep writing

So, you’ve done it. You’ve brought blogging back! Or at least you’re well on your way to doing so.

You should keep blogging because it’s fun, because it keeps you engaged with your readers, because it lets you express yourself in a way that other mediums can’t. Even if you’re not getting traffic right away, don’t stop blogging.

The best blogs take time to grow, but the more effort that you put into them, the better they become. Keep writing! You’ll get there eventually (you can check out my blog here).

Conclusion

Bringing blogging back is hard, but that’s part of the fun.

This guide will help you start getting involved, but it’s really up to you where your blog goes from here. Don’t let the idea of bringing blogging back go to waste. Starting today!

Bringing blogging back‘ usually means either blogging about the best blogs in the world or changing something to make it cooler (e.g., bringing back mustaches).
