The impact tier list: Honkai

“Honkai Impact” is a popular fighting game that has been in the competitive scene for a few months. It’s been getting a lot of hype, but what does it mean for eSports?

Let’s take a look at some of the steps they took to make this game great, and what its influence will be on the world of fighting games. In no particular order, here are the top three things they did right:

– The popularity boost from “Overwatch”-

With Overwatch being one of the most successful video games in recent history, you can expect “Honkai Impact” to gain popularity with this title.

With its simplified controls, emphasis on teamplay and a large array of characters, it has the makings of a fighting game that is easy to learn and understand.

-“The first online fighting game for consoles”-

“Honkai Impact” takes place in a fantasy world where there are two opposing forces: Honkai and Divine.

Without spoiling the story, the players take on either Honkai or Divine, which can be changed at any time during a match.

Winning over an opponent from their side means you’ll likely have an easier time winning through neutral objectives – such as capturing points. If you’ve played any other 3D fighting games, then you already know what this looks like.

-The release of the game-

“Honkai Impact” was released on January 17th, 2017. Within one month, around 1 million people around the world had played the game.

Initially, there were only 8 characters. Through DLC, they’ve got another 24 characters to choose from – increasing the roster size to 36 playable characters – making it one of the largest fighting games in history.

– The first FGC title to be available on Steam Early Access-

Steam has become a big player in the eSports scene since Valve acquired Dreamhack for $11M USD in 2015.

They’ve announced the addition of several fighting games, including DOTA 2, PUBG, and “HONKAI IMPACT”. It will be interesting to watch where the game goes in future updates.

The honkai impact tier list :

1.Nightingale-

Nightingale is the main damage dealer for Honkai, she can deal high damage to bosses, although her skill set is quite short, the damage she can deal especially with her ultimate helps clear enemies quickly

2.Lilith –

Lilith can deal high single target and AOE damage while also reducing enemy defense down to make them easier to kill , her skills are quite long range and easy to use, while not having much mobility she makes up for this with how strong she is at killing enemies both solo and in team fights .

3.DLC Headhunter VI-

DLC headhunter VI has a high burst damage and with his dodge he can also dodge most incoming attacks, he is an amazing character with many skills to combo with , his ultimate if not used correctly can be quite easy to die from.

4.Alice II-

Alice II can deal damage at range while also reducing enemy defense like lilith, she has a lot of mobility, her ult if used correctly can take out most enemies with ease , unfortunately her skills are quite easy to dodge.

5.Hacker-

Hacker’s role is to reduce enemies’ defense and make them easier to kill , her skills are quite long range like lilith and deal a decent amount of damage, she makes up for the lack of mobility with a high amount of health and decent damage output.

6.DLC Headhunter IV-

Headhunter IV has a high burst damage and with his dodge he can also dodge most incoming attacks, he is an amazing character with many skills to combo with , his ultimate if not used correctly can be quite easy to die from.

7.DLC Headhunter III-

Headhunter 3 is a great support role for Honkai as he provides them with a lot of cooldown reduction, the skills are relatively easy to use, but without enough utility to make him viable as an end-game character due to the lack of mobility and damage output.

Can still be played as a great secondary switch for her teammates.

8.DLC Headhunter VII-

Headhunter 7 is a great support role for Honkai as he provides them with a lot of cooldown reduction, the skills are relatively easy to use, but without enough utility to make him viable as an end-game character due to the lack of mobility and damage output.

9.DLC Headhunter II-

Headhunter 2 is ok in damage output but can heal himself , his skills are relatively easy to use but because the ultimate has long cooldown it makes it hard for him to clear enemies quickly .

10.DLC Headhunter VIII-

Headhunter 8 is ok in damage output but can heal herself, his skills are relatively easy to use but because the ultimate has long cooldown it makes it hard for him to clear enemies quickly .
