I’m going to live blog the Golden Globes tonight from my computer!

I’ll be updating this article as the night progresses with my thoughts on who won, if they were drunk or not, and all of that fun stuff.

I’m coming to you all the way from New York City. For those of you not in the know, New York City is where Hollywood meets fans,

celebrities, and critics alike. It’s the epicenter of everything golden about Hollywood!

Yes, it’s true that movie attendance has been on a steady decline for years now. But honestly, I don’t think it’s bad at all!

I’ve always found this situation to be humorous to begin with. When I was ten years old,

my parents took me out to see The Lord of the Rings for the first time. My mother had actually seen

that movie before me and she was convinced I’d like it just as much as she did. I’d heard of the books before,

but I really didn’t think I’d like it. When we finally got to the theater and I saw how big and loud and exciting the action was,

my heart started racing with excitement! And we weren’t even in the theater yet.

At any rate, my parents bought us all tickets and we sat down in the movie theater.

It was packed to the brim with every sort of person you could ever imagine! More people had come out for

The Lord of the Rings than had ever been projected by any realistic estimate!

With that crowd came one thing: criticism. Of course there were people who enjoyed that movie,

but there were also plenty of people who hated it. And I still think that the criticisms of the movie are completely unfair to this day!

Going into that theater, I was worried that there were going to be people all around me shouting that the film was garbage.

But thankfully, everyone around us seemed to like it too. And soon enough, everyone in the theater was applauding at the end of the movie.

We all left satisfied and happy. And I can’t help but wonder how many of those people who had initially said they hated it changed their opinion over time!

As you can see, I know all about criticism when it comes to films in Hollywood.

It’s not easy being a part of this business or producing films for the big screen here in America.

Unfortunately, this Hollywood business isn’t easy. For the most part, the people who run things

in Hollywood are completely insane and overly critical. They’re also incredibly ambitious and thin-skinned.

But I’m going to be honest with you: I only write blogs when I feel the need to put my opinions

out there in a public arena! And because of that, I’m going to be living blogging tonight’s Golden Globes from my computer in New York City!

Now let’s talk a bit about why I decided to live blog this. I wanted to live blog the Golden Globes tonight because

I’ve been getting loads of emails from avid fans! Yes, people from all over the world have been emailing me

asking me to live blog this award show for everyone to see. They were shocked when I told them

that I hadn’t heard of how big the Golden Globes was! It’s a very big deal, indeed! golden globes live blogging

I’m going to start this live blogging right now! Keep watching to see what happens next! I’ll be updating this article as soon as anything exciting happens.

Here’s what I think the winner of tonight’s Golden Globes will be. It’s something of an upset, but not one I’d have guessed myself! This is a pretty big deal, after all!

Winner: The Wolf of Wall Street
