Everyone, at some point in their lives, will find themselves in a demanding situation where they start to panic.

You’ll experience this feeling of being out of control, which can be caused by a number of things – from an upcoming exam to a pending interview.

The most important thing you should do when you get this panicked feeling is to take a deep breath and relax.what does unaligated mean

In the same way that you train your body for physical exercise by feeding it nourishment and putting

it through rigorous training exercises, you need to train your brain for the same thing – through exposure and practice.

Here are a few ways you can train your brain while lying in bed so that you can control panic:

Meditate:

Meditation is a type of brain training which involves controlling and focusing on your breath and body.

To meditate, all you have to do is sit comfortably in a chair or even lie on your bed with your eyes closed.

You then start to focus on the process of breathing in and out.

By doing this, you get your mind off of “what if” statements like “what if I fail the interview” and get it focused on the present moment –

which acts as a sort of mental vacation from reality.

There are also plenty of apps out there that can help you learn how to meditate, but if you’re feeling ambitious, check out the Headspace app for help.

Write down your worries: We all have our own way of figuring things out.

Some people make lists, while others call their friends or their family for support.

The point is discovering what works best for you.

What works best for me is writing down my worries on paper and physically seeing them – especially

if it’s something that I’m worried about happening over the next week or so.

Putting it into writing allows you to see just how big or small that problem really is.

Take a walk:

If you are worried about an upcoming interview, take a walk to clear your mind.

The act of being outside gives your body time to relax, which helps you approach the interview in a calm manner.

For those who do not have time or the need for company, they can always bring their dog out with them.

Many people have found that just being around their dog can really help them focus on what’s important –

like being relaxed and being able to ask questions without feeling the need for an audience.

Just because you’re anxious doesn’t mean that it is productive to be sitting on the couch all day long.

There are plenty of things that you can do to get your mind working again.

One of the best things you can do is to read a book.

Even if it’s a new one, reading something familiar to you will help distract your mind from your worries and get it back on track.

A new approach to reading will allow you to make connections between the book and the real world,

which will ultimately make you more knowledgeable of what is going on in the world around you.

You will also be able to learn how other people handle similar situations,

which will ultimately help advance your career and give you a better understanding of what managers expect from people who work for them.

Just Breathe:

Sometimes, when we get worked up about a certain situation,

it is the simplest things that help us to relax. In this case, it is learning how to breathe properly.

When you are lying in bed and your mind is going crazy with worries, you can easily put your mind at ease by practicing a breathing exercise.

You can either lie on your back or lie on your side and start breathing in and out of your mouth. It may seem silly at first,

but the more you do this exercise, the more relaxed you will become with little to no effort whatsoever.

If you’re having trouble sleeping because of these worries, then utilizing an app like Calm may help.

Talk to Your Friends or Family:

Another thing that can calm down your mind is talking to people about the situation.

Whether you’re talking to your parents, your friends, or even just someone who you have met recently,

talking about things that are bothering you will allow you to relieve stress. Not only is this method efficient,

but it allows you to feel like someone understands what’s happening.

Allowing yourself to be open will often times help us overcome the fears associated with stressful situations.

Avoid Negative Thinking:

Unpleasant thoughts have a way of clouding our minds and preventing us from focusing on what’s important.

Avoiding negative thoughts altogether may be one of the best ways for anxiety sufferers to get over their worries.

Try finding a hobby that involves a positive outlook on life, such as swimming, gardening, or even exercising.

Many people have found that taking a walk along the beach can be very therapeutic, especially when you have your headphones in and your eyes closed.
