Riverwalk ice skating is a popular destination for tourists, urbanites, and families alike. Without a doubt, if you are looking for a new date spot or want to find an activity for your family to do on the weekends that is both fun and festive. But be prepared — it can be difficult to break through the ice of people who never heard of Riverwalk ice skating before! In addition to being fun and festive, it can also give you some alone time with your partner and help you get to know each other better outside the context of social media or other nearby attractions like the San Diego County Fair !
2. Get your local community to sponsor you!
If you can find a local business owner willing to sponsor your ice skating, this is also a great way to get people to like Riverwalk Ice Skating. Like with other charitable ventures, getting someone else to fund an activity will make you more likely to complete it.
Even better, if the sponsoring business has their own social media presence, people following their accounts are likely to see your event and consider going themselves. But beware: sometimes business owners (like yours truly) only sponsor events that they can directly benefit from. If you can get a group of people together to form a fundraising committee, or even just a small gathering of family or friends, it is certainly possible to get people to like Riverwalk Ice Skating.
