Android devices come with a variety of different software channels that

can be used to customize the way your phone interacts with the world.

It is important to know how these software channels work because it can make a huge difference in what you are able to select and do.

In this blog post, we will show you how to identify each of the software channels on your

Android device and let you know which ones are available.

The first step in identifying all of these channels is look at your device’s interface and find the gear icon.

This gear is called your device’s settings. When you tap the settings icon, it will open up a new menu with tons of different options.

The first three options in this menu relate to software channels (aka apps) that are currently on your phone.

They are Keep, Google Play and Device.

Each application listed in this menu is available for you to adjust and customize the behavior of your phone from within the application itself.

So let’s take a look at each one of these channels individually so you have a better understanding of what they do and how they work:

Keep: This channel allows you to keep track of all of your device’s information without having to sync with any other party over the internet.

Some of the things that this channel allows you to do are;

“Touch your device to backup call log, SMS(text messages), your camera photos and videos”.

Once you have backed up all of your information, keep is a way for you to restore this data to a new phone or tablet.

Google Play: This channel acts as a marketplace for all the applications that are currently available for Android phones.

This is one of the biggest channels that many people use because it has so much options from which to choose from.

Some of those options include: “Games, Books & Magazines, Music & Movies, Newsstand” and so on.

Device: The device channel is where you can access your device’s settings and options.

This channel gives you access to things such as “System Updates, Wireless Controls, Display Settings and so on.”

Just like keep, this channel also allows you to back up and restore data from your phone or tablet using a USB cable and a computer.

So there you have it. That was our quick run down of all of the software channels that can be found on Android devices today

– hope this helps – if there is anything we didn’t cover just drop us a line and we will be sure to get back to you shortly with an answer!
