A few years ago, I was in a huge rush to get out the door. There was only one thing on my mind: 

finding a quick and easy recipe for a refreshing Peppermint Milkshake and getting it in the blender before I left for work.

 Unfortunately, my go-to recipe did not yield enough for what I wanted — but no matter! 

Within minutes of pouring it into my drink carrier, I found out that there is never too much chocolate 

when it comes to milkshakes! In fact, this recipe was so delicious that it quickly became one of my favorite treats.

There are many varieties of peppermint milkshakes available at coffee shops. 

However, they can be expensive, sugary and may not be gluten-free.

 Making delicious Peppermint Milkshakes at home is easier than you might think.

The recipe below yields two large milkshakes or four small ones – and they will take you about 10 minutes to make!

A few things we love about this recipe:

1. It uses fresh peppermint and chocolate – and nothing artificial.

2. It is naturally sweetened with raw honey and contains protein, potassium, calcium and 

antioxidants from the cacao powder.
