Nuclear Throne is a post-apocalyptic roguelike shooter with the most explosive weaponry this side of StarCraft!
And it’s not just any old shoot-em-up, these are nuclear explosions. Your character quests through the wasteland to uncover what happened to the world and why he’s still alive.
Along the way you will fight off bandits, mutants, giant spiders and more! You start with nothing but your bare hands (and one bullet), but along the way you can find new weapons and new ways to die trying.

1.Bazooka –
It is the first real weapon you get in game.Its projectile has a really fast speed and it can be aimed up or down.
However,it has the biggest bullet drop outside of sniper rifles.You can use it to kill most early game mutants (like rats,mole rats etc).It is the first weapon you should pick up if you are using bow as your primary weapon,since they are pretty similar in terms of effectiveness against early game mutants.
Since its projectiles explode into smaller projectiles upon impact ,it can also be used for dealing with enemies that are behind cover(such as behind barriers made out of crates).
Bazooka is also the only weapon that can stun enemies (enemies affected by stun will be unable to move or attack).
2.Sniper Rifle –
This is probably the best weapon in Nuclear Throne (especially if you like playing solo and for achievements/unlockables).
It has almost no bullet drop and pretty fast projectiles,making it really good for long range combat.
It is the one of three weapons that can stun enemies (enemies stunned by sniper rifle will be unable to move,but will still be able to shoot at the player).
Also it has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when used against an enemy.
3.Uzi –
This is better than a pistol in every way except for ammo capacity,which isn’t a big problem since uzi has a pretty fast firing rate and also a small bullet drop.
It can be used for close quarters combat,but it is best used from medium ranges,as it has a pretty fast projectile velocity.
It can be fired while walking,making it even better for close quarters combat(especially against mutants that don’t shoot(like beetles).Also has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when used against an enemy.
4.Pistol –
This is your starting weapon.It can be used for close quarters combat (especially against mutants that don’t shoot(like beetles)),but you should pick uzi as soon as possible,since it is pretty much better in every way.
Also has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when used against an enemy.
5.Boomerang –
This is one of the most fun weapons to use (especially if you like playing solo and for achievements/unlockables).
It flies back to the player after being thrown,stunning all enemies(except bosses) on its path.This is the only weapon that stuns enemies by stunning them(enemies affected by stun will be unable to move or attack).
The player can pick it up from the air,even if he didn’t throw it.It has a 50% chance of dropping ammo when tossed at an enemy.
6.Spear –
This is a really good weapon for players who like close quarters combat and bosses (especially if you like playing solo and for achievements/unlockables).
It can impale any enemy(except bosses),which does a small amount of damage over time,making it pretty good against stalkers and mutants that do not shoot(like beetles).
It is also the only weapon that can stun enemies with a small explosion upon killing them(enemies affected by stun will be unable to move or attack).It has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when used against an enemy.
7.Shotgun –
This is one of the most powerful weapons in the game,with a good damage output and a very high rate of fire.
However,it does not have a really good range,and it is hard to hit with due to its wide spread/low accuracy [so its best used from close-mid ranges].Also has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when used against an enemy.
8.Flamethrower –
This is a really good weapon for players who like close quarters combat and bosses (especially if you like playing solo and for achievements/unlockables).It can burn enemies in a big explosion,doing a lot of damage over time.
It is also the only weapon that can stun enemies by stunning them(enemies affected by stun will be unable to move or attack).
The player can pick it up from the water,even if he didn’t throw it.It has a 25% chance of dropping ammo when tossed at an enemy.
